Reduction of volatile organic compounds and odorous emissions in biological waste gas treatments
Biological waste gas treatment is a sustainable approach for polishing air pollution. Micro-organism are the heart of these systems but reactor design and optimisation is a challenge. The focus is on innovative approaches such a membrane bio filters and multiphase biological waste gas systems. The aim is pushing further the applicability in terms of compounds with high Henry's law coefficients. Fields of application are the removal of both inorganic an organic volatiles in agriculture and industry aiming to reducen volatile organic compounds and odorous emissions.
